OK, I've already been asked for video of this technique, and good news, there is a good clip online. This is Gordon Jennings launching an ICON at last years US F3J Team Selections in Chicago. Notice how his hand is in front of the wing, the line goes through his hand on the fuse. He straight arm tensions back, kicks to signal his towers to start pulling, and throws the model already rotated and pulling hard to the sky... this is a good launch.
