Are you sure about that? On my 8U all that does is offset the throttle position where the butterfly mode will take effect. So, for example, if you set it to 90%, nothing will happen until you move the stick down below 90% of it's movement. It does nothing to change the actual position or offset of the flaps. Perhaps I'm missing something.
