There was nothing wrong with this thread until a couple of guys made it look bad. The thought of terrorism never even entered my mind when I posted that link, my thoughts were all around modeling and the mix of computers and electronics, a subject that fascinates me, as well as others on this list.
There was a long thread just recently about the TAM, the Trans Atlantic Model, doing the same thing with a GPS, but that model had a SLIMER on front, wasn't even glider related. Not a peep from the audience here about using it maliciously, not to mention it was completely off topic. This was less than a month ago. I was impressed with the uninhibited engineering and the fun these guys obviously had putting that glider model together. They were not causing any troubles, they were using their minds and imagination and they were modeling for crying out loud! I had no reason to mention it here other than it was glider related and I thought would be interesting to others, and from the private email I received, others thought it interesting too. There should be nothing wrong with that on this exchange.
