Hi
Dave,
I have
the older 7103, and I've done some basic stuff that might help you.. I set
my open-class ship up to use the CROW function for landing, but when
the CROW switch is off, I still use my throttle/spoiler stick for camber
control.... Note: I have my flaps and ailerons move the same way for
landing mode, personal preference.
I
have these modes set (probably backwards for 99% of the folk on the
list) so that I keep the throttle towards me during normal flight, and I push it
forward for flaps /aileron control. I just change the throws
from full deflection to about 10% of that when the CROW switch is
OFF. EG, instead of dropping the flaps to 70 degrees, I may only drop them
15 degrees at full throttle throw. I also use that trim tab for fine
adjustments.
Make sense? Basically just program the CROW (and
your 3-position preset) as tho you had flaps and that they were coupled with
your ailerons. I'm sure there are other ways to work this,
but this made sense to me (and I don't have the luxury of a
slider).
Good
luck,
Brent
