Gent's,
What's the difference between Cored & Core-less servos?
Inquiring minds would like to know.
A core :)
There isn't a steel armature core. The wire winds serve this
structural purpose. Without a core, the armature is lighter.
Invented by Dr. Fritz Faulhaber in the 1950's. If you search
the web you'll find a German company by the name of Fritz
Faulhaber that makes coreless motors among other things :)
