Jack, Not sure who to address my question to. Seems as though LSF does not recognize HLG contests for the Competition Requirements. I find this strange. One person explained that it was because the plane is hand launched � not winched (fact). If we can substitute slope duration for thermal duration, that does not make sense. I believe it is an oversight since HL was not practiced in 1969. So my question is, is there a reason why HL contests do not count? Regis
