� � Some people have mis-interpreted the nomination form on the LSF site
as being the only way they can nominate officers. The form on the web
site and was placed there for electronic balloting. We have used this
method during the last election cycle and found it to be reliable and
secure, as well as easy for the membership to use. Right now though we
are experiencing issues with our current web server thus preventing
electronic nominations at this time. When working it allows us to track
entries against the master database and prevent duplicate forms from
being entered.
� � There has been some misunderstanding and some people do not believe
we will take mailed in nominations. There never was a time that we
implied that we would not take any mailed in nominations. Frankly I
would not care if it was written on the back of a matchbook as long as
we had the LSF members name and other info so we could identify them as
a LSF member and it had the names of the people they were nominating, as
well as what office they were being nominated for. The address to mail
in nominations is on the LSF web site. Do not use the voucher address at
AMA.
� � It is a positive thing to see people taking an interest in the LSF
election� process. We encourage more flyers to do so.
