A side benefit to having even a little more camber on the slider is that it can be used for a light tension launch setup, like if the lines are wet or you are trying to launch on a bungee or histart.

Let me clarify this sentence too, as I had a good question asked of my offline. I would be using this with my normal launch preset OFF, and then using the camber to drop my trailing edge approx. half of what my normal launch preset is. i.e. I am using a less aggressive launch setup.
