In a message dated 10/10/03 You wrote:  I would be using this with my normal launch preset OFF, and then using the camber to drop my trailing edge approx. half of what my normal launch preset is.  i.e. I am using a less aggressive launch setup.     I agree with what Jim has said and would like to add my recommendation to the use of the slider for camber/reflex control as well as the three position set position switch.  The Stylus transmitter left slider has a detent in the middle of the throw.  I set my model up so the detent or middle position has the control surfaces at zero or the wing "in section".  The three position switch has the normal launch and reflex mode.  However the slider permits a greater range of camber and reflex than the three position switch.  In the extreme reflex position, the model will literally fall out of the sky without excessive speed.  The extra camber provided by the slider will occasionally stretch the poorly executed landing approach a few yards that may put me in the landing circle.  The slider will camber the trailing edge about one thickness of the trailing edge for every click.  Two clicks seem to work well when camber is appropriate.       The worst configuration, in my opinion, is the switch that puts camber on the flap stick, but must be flipped for flap control.  I had one for about a week and was fortunate to find a buyer.  This was an accident waiting for a place in time.   Don Richmond San Diego, CA www.hilaunch.com
