RC Direct was well represented from out of their San Diego, California Hangar at the Torrey Pines Gulls World's IHLGF, Poway, CA !!  RC Direct is BERG'ville!  In a PR effort to overcome their reputation they were exchanging all ole'Bergs for their NEW digital signal processing receivers.  As a matter of fact being duly warned--shot down every time I got in a gaggle, I had bought HiTech from George & Jo.  Well !! Afterall, I was staying at the Joy'Hilton :-) !

THEN !!  BERG put on a unique "Subway'hour" demonstration of the new technology available and incorporated in the NEW BERG RXs--a bird was launched and while flying another bird was launched on the SAME FREQUENCY and both continued in uninterrupted flight--GLITCHLESS flight--the RXs had locked in on each's individual TX-DNA.  Convinced !!  I made my way to BERG'booth.  For BERG then, RC Direct exchanged three of my ole'Bergs straight across for three new BERGS.  "Get the word around!"  was the only favor asked.  I flew the MidSouths and the LSF/NATS without any hits--well, someone did midair me :-) !!  While no one seemed to care to listen to my PR efforts  :-) --I sound too much like Gordy; rather, I think we who make our business schedules according to flying opportunities are the envy of the rest--I did hear the story going around about the IHLGF demo !!

This was not an IHLGF available service only, but I have not been in touch with RC Direct  http://www.rc-direct.com/ to know whether or not they are yet extending this exchange service.
