The comments/complaints about contests are confusing to me. About once every
year or so someone will, sometimes me, will ask "Why fly contests?" when you
argue and fight about them so much. Well it's my time again because I'm
again fedup with the complaining.
Why all the bickering? Geez.

It sounds like my kid complaining over a game that's "too hard".

Look at Joe. He flys the CONTEST. He approaches the event in the most
methodically logical manner to achieve a maximum score. His descriptions
over the years here on this list have shown that his skill is multifaceted.
He knows how to fly the plane, read the air and attack the contest of the
day. It's just part of the gig. Gosh. You like it, you advocate it, you do
it; so why all the bickering?
