I have been using stock flat servo wires with multiple runs of up to 7 feet
each without incident or problems. No twists, no chokes, no ferrite beads.

I have done this with both 4 and 5 cell battery packs (NiMH & NiCad) and
servos (digital and analog) from JR (241 up to 8411), Futaba, Volz, and
Multiplex. Receivers have been both normal FM and PCM (JR and Futaba).

I have done this on both gliders (large scale planes and carbon/kevlar/glass
TD ships) and on gas powered (as in large scale gasoline powered 100cc twin
cylinder engine) planes.

But as Bill said, twisting will not do any harm. I just have never seen the
need to do it.
