You gotta be kidding, right? Since when does the recipient of a donated freebie get to dictate rights and ethics to the donor of the freebie? Its not really clear to me either how they picked the group of 10 pilots in the flyoff, but what does it matter? It was for JR to determine what they wanted to do to give a prize away. I know, like, and respect Terry Mickle, and would love to have seen him win a radio, but you can't always believe what you read, here or otherwise. If there was a change in JR's thinking on how to distribute the donated item, thats their right, not yours. And I don't ever recall distribution of donated prizes to be an issue that needed to be discussed at a pilots meeting.
I guess you also expect to win everytime you enter the lottery because you paid for it, and presents on your birthday and XMAS are your god-given right.
Get real, is it any wonder fewer vendors are contributing to our events instead of more? Attitudes like this one of eminent domain sure don't help. Flame on, ye of higher ethics than I.

Was the rule changes announced at the pilots meeting saturday?
Was it changed after the contest started?
Why did he not know of the flyoff? (rule change)
Did he finish 100th?
After these are answered, then what is ethical and right?
