I've had a couple of Red Herrings. I've used Hitec HS 50 servos - or HS 55, with micro 555 rcvr. 100 Mah Ni-cad flat pack, tho I'd use NiMh if I were buying again.

They are surprising planes - I.e. others are surprised at how well they fly, especially in light lift.

Hi,

Im am thinking about buying a Red Herring for small slope, light wind flying and thermal hunting in small fields around home.

I would like to have comments about this plane.

What equipment would you recommend putting in it?

Thank you very much

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.
