So far, the Tilley is ranking high. Will the brim stay put in 25 mph slope lift? I'm not worried about the price. I figure if I own some pretty expensive radio and aircraft, $62 on a hat is doable. gv

I personally favor the Tilley T4, which is very comfortable, and has a big brim that extends well over the neck for protection. It also has a good strap to keep it on your head in windy conditions. A very durable and well-made product from our friends in Canada! http://tilley.com/detail.asp? catId=13&gender=m&extractBy=CategoryId&id=1&productNo=T4 -Jim On Jun 2, 2005, at 11:11 PM, George Voss wrote: > I know this will start a huge discussion, but what is the best hat for > both > slope and thermal flying?
