Hello All F5J Enthusiasts.

The Albuquerque Soaring Association (AMA#1965) is pleased to announce
the 2005 Albuquerque F5J Electric Soaring World Challenge, to be held
at the Gardner Turf Grass Farm, McIntosh, NM (8 mi S. of Moriarty) the
weekend of October 14-16, 2005. If you attended last year, you know
that this is an event not to be missed.

New to the contest will be the so-called "Albuquerque Rules," in which
the pilot will have the opportunity to choose his motor run time within
a fixed working time window (10 or 15 min.). Flight points will be
determined by the pilot's gliding flight time (motor off) within the
remaining working time. Three classes of competition will be
available--Speed 400, 7-cell, and Unlimited.

This has proved to be a fun, yet challenging format--this year will be
no exception.

For more information and on-line registration, please go to:
http://www.soarabq.org/f5j_wc_2005/f5j_main.htm

This is an AMA-sanctioned event.

And a special favor to ask--
Whether or not you personally plan to attend, could you please pass
this announcement along to your fellow soaring entusiasts and F5J
colleagues and club officers for further distribution. We want to give
the widest opportunity for attending this high flying event.

See you in October!!!

Regards,
Richard Shagam
President, Albuquerque Soaring Assoc.
