Hi Dan
The gel coat on the Ava fuse will stand up to Acetone with no problem. So
that's the first thing to try. Second is some 2000 wet and dry paper. Be
careful the gel coat isn't that thick. Then finish polish it with Wrights
Silver Cream. This also works very well on scratches and other mistakes on
Moldies.

Tried, toothpaste, thought you guys were pulling my leg but a few
suggested it...it didn't work, niether did clorox cleanup, 409, goo
gone and others.
I'll go with the rubbing compound.
Plan B will be a flying buddy with a serious paint booth, maybe we'll
get creative :)

I guess it's like a new car before you get that first door ding...
Before assembly, I had my new Ava safely in it's bag. The fuse and
tailboom were in the side pocket. The result is some of the carbon
powder from the inside of the tailboom found its way onto the nosecone
leaving some dark streaks on the white finish.
The finish doesn't seem to be marred, I just can't seem to get the marks
out.
It's not the end of the world but it is so daggone good looking!
Any suggestions?
