Tom, We try a range of things including instructional sessions (thermaling basics, flying techniques, RC system maintenance) all with some kind of visual support via PC and a projector. We also show interesting video clips from other clubs and individuals - this really helps with covering diverse subject and introducing new types of flying, such as electric-launched scale sailplanes.
Construction technique demos are also popular.
