Adam Sarner, a Gartner analyst, has projected that over 75 percent of Fortune 1000 companies will undertake some kind of online social-networking initiative for marketing or customer relations in 2014. Through gamification, organizations can take control of their brand experience by engaging users, encouraging them to join a community, drive active participation, share with friends outside the community, and even recruit friends.
