The funding was co-led by Lux Capital and dRx Capital. Science37, which is led by CEO Noah Craft, says it is using telemedicine and mobile workforces to help overcome inefficiency in conducting clinical trials, and specifically to help clinical trials run distributed clinical trials, using national mobile nursing companies, pharmacy chains, patient advocacy groups, and technology. Hererra was previously Head of Partner Marketing at Magento. He also has served at Visa. Guidance says it has helped such brands as Foot Locker, Johnny Was, Relax the Back, TOMS Shoes to create their websites and apps. Imprimis Pharmaceuticals Buys Compounded Sinus Medication Provider ---- San Diego-based Imprimis Pharmaceuticals announced this morning that it has acquired what it says is the largest provider of compounded, sinus medication in the U.S. Imprimis said it acquired the Topical Apothecary Group, LLC (d/b/a TAG Pharmacy), Aerosol Science Laboratories, Inc. (d/b/a ASL Pharmacy), SinuTopic, Inc. (d/b/a Sinus Dynamics Pharmacy) and Mycotoxins, LLC., all of which were part of Thousand Oaks Holding Company. Imprimis said TAG, ASL, and Sinus Dynamics were the largest providers of compounded sinus medications in the U.S. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Envi Launches (Another) On-Demand Car Wash Service In LA ---- In the second, on-demand, car-wash startup to launch in Los Angeles in the last few months, Los Angeles-based Envi says it has launched a new, on-demand startup to help users get their cars washed, using a mobile app. The startup--currently in public beta in Los Angeles--says its services start at $30.00 for the exterior of a car, and offers up environmentally friendly, socially responsible on-demand car detailing. The startup's apps run on iOS and Android. Envi is led by Chad Zani.
