The light bulbs--which are fully dimmable, and used LEDs--range from 50 watts to 60 watts, and connect into an iOS or Android app via a consumer's home Wi-Fi router. Financial terms of the investment were not announced. According to the two, the investment also includes a technology development agreement, which will help Stanley Blak & Decker accelerate development of new products for its customers. Applied Merchant Systems and BlueSquare Resolutions Merge ---- Calabasas-based payment processing operator Applied Merchant Systems announced late Monday that it has merged with BlueSquare Resolutions, and raised a round of debt funding. The funding came via a senior credit facility from Goldman Sachs Specialty Lending Group and Business Development Corporation of America. Financial details of the merger and financing transaction were not announced. Applied Merchant Systems says it has over $4 billion in annual processing volume. The company is led by Jonathan Severn. Portfolium Gets $6.6M To Help College Students Find Jobs ---- San Diego-based Portfolium, a startup which develops a service to help college students provide portfolio of their work to employers, has raised $6.6M in a funding round, the company disclosed on Monday. The funding was led by SFJ Ventures, and also included University Ventures and USA Funds. Financial terms of the funding were not disclosed. The two said that, as a result of the investment, Coronal will become Coronal Energy powered by Panasonic. Panasonic made its first investment in the company in December of 2014, and another in September of 2016.
