ZipRecruiter said the American Red Cross will post its thousands of monthly job openings across its resume database. The American Red Cross says ZipRecruiter has been helping the organization to fill nearly 6,000 vaanies per year. ZipRecruier's CEO is Ian Siegel. DexCom Gets FDA Approval On Android App For Blood Glucose Monitoring ---- San Diego-based medical device maker DexCom announced this morning that the FDA has approved its G5 Mobile App, the company's system for monitoring a users' blood glucose level, which runs on Android phones. According to DexCom, the Android mobile app will be avaliable beginning this month, allowing people with diabetes to view and monitor their glucose levels on their mobile devices. DexCom already had approval on the iOS version of its app since 2015. Both apps work with Dexcom's G5 Mobile CGM System devices. Esri Signs New Agreement With NATO ---- Redland-based geographical information systems software developer Esri said today tht it has signed a new, enterprise agreement with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Communications and Information (NCI) Agency. Financial details of the agreement were not announced. Esri said the deal includes addendums to cover the use of Esri software by NATO Functional Area Services (FAS) and NATO Nations that use NATO FAS and/or the NATO Core GIS, as well as the support of all these systems. NATO apparently has been a long time user of Esri's technology for its GIS efforts. New Accelerator Aims At International Startups In LA ---- A new, startup accelerator, aimed at startups and small-and-medium-sized businesses looking to go global, says it is launching this summer in Los Angeles. The International Business Accelerator said it is running its first program in Los Angeles from June 26th to July 7th, with workshops aimed at aspects of exporting, one-on-one coaching, and a demo day in October. The startup accelerator said it is hosted by the LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce. Unlike almost all of the startup accelerators in town, the International Business Accelerator is not offering up any startup funding, and in fact says it charges $1,500 per company and $500 for every additional participate, to be part of the program. Size of the funding was not announced. Abreos said the new funding round came from its existing investors, along with TLP Investment Partners LLC and its affiliates. Dr. Bradley Messmer is CEO and founder of Abreos.
