Clutter Collects $64M More For On Demand Storage
----
Los Angeles-based Clutter, which operates an on-demand, physical storage
service which picks up and delivers your belongings from offsite storage,
has raised $64M in a Series C funding, the company disclosed this morning.
The funding came from Atomico, Sequoia Capital, GV (Google Ventures), and
Fifth Wall. Clutter has also previously raised funding from AmplifyLA,
Resolute.vc, and angels Matt Coffin, David Sacks, and Joanne Wilson.
Clutter has now raised around $97M in total funding since 2015.

Alteryx Rolls Out On Microsoft Azure
----
Irvine-based data analytics software developer Alteryx is rolling out its
Alteryx Server software on Microsoft Azure, the company announced this
morning. Alteryx said the software is now available on the Microsoft Azure
Marketplace. Alteryx develops software used by business analysts for data
analytics. The company just had a successful IPO in March.

ScriptDash Raises $23M To Expand Online Pharmacy To LA
----
San Francisco-based ScriptDash Pharmacy, which operates an online,
prescription pharmacy service, said on Monday that it has raised $23M in a
funding round, and expanded to Los Angeles, and also rebranded itself to
Alto Pharmacy. Los Angeles is its first market outside of the Bay Area.
Alto lets doctors submit their prescriptions to the pharmacy, and then
provides scheduled delivery of those prescriptions to patients. The funding
round came from  Greenoaks Capital, Rahul Mehta (DST Global), Justin Kan
(Twitch), and Jackson Square Ventures. Alto says that it has been working
with such institutions as UCSF Medical Center, Stanford Hospital, John Muir
Health System, and Sutter Health in the Bay Area.

Activision, Bungie Plan Early Launch Date For Destiny 2
----
Los Angeles-based Activision Publishing, and game studio Bungie said late
Monday evening that they have an early ship date for Destiny 2. According
to the two, Destiny 2 will launch on Playstation 4 and Xbox One on
September 6th, with the PC version launching on October 24th. The company
said it has begun taking pre-orders for the title. Early beta access for
Platstion 4 begins on July 18th, available to players who pre-order the
game, with Xbox One opening on July 19th. The game originally had been
scheduled for release two days later. Destiny 2 is a sequel to Destiny, a
first person-action game which was released in September of 2014.

Chrome River Wins University Of Minnesota
----
Los Angeles-based expense and invoice management software developer Chrome
River says this morning that it has been selected by the University of
Minnesota, to help modernize the University's expense management system.
Financial details of the win were not announced. Chrome River said its
system will be rolled out to almost 30,000 faculty and staff members at the
university system. Chrome River is led by CEO Alan Rich.

Conexant Acquired By Synaptics For $346.7M
----
Irvine-based Conexant Systems, which develops semiconductors for the audio
and voice market, has been acquired by Synaptics, in a deal worth
approximately $346.7M in cash. Synaptics and Conexant said Monday afternoon
that Synaptics will pay $300M in cash plus 726,666 shares of Synaptics
common stock. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2017.
Conexant said it was advised by Cowen and Company, LLC and O'Melveny &
Myers LLP in the deal. Conexant makes a wide range of semiconductors,
ranging from analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) and CODECs to embedded
modem, DSP, and other related products.

WaveMaker Partners Closing New $50M Fund, With Southeast Asia Focus
----
Los Angeles- and Singapore-based WaveMaker Partners, the venture capital
firm managed here in LA by Eric Manlunas and David Siemer, with Paul Santos
in Sinagpore, said over the weekend that it is finalizing its new, $50M
fund. The new fund has a new focus specifically on investing in companies
in Southeast Asia. WaveMaker said the new fund has a specific focus on B2B,
early stage startups in Indonesia. The new fund is tied to Tim Draper's
Draper Venture Network (DVN). The fund is WaveMaker's fifth

Elevate Launches Analytics Team In San Diego
----
San Diego-based Elevate Credit, a fintech startup aimed at providing credit
to non-prime customers, said it has launched a new "Advanced Analytics"
center in San Diego. The company said the San Diego team has more than 35
data scientists, including more than 25 member with advanced degrees, and
eight with PhDs. Elevate says it has a terabyte-scale Hadoop database it is
using to assign risk to consumers, using  credit bureau data, web
behavioral and performance data, bank account data and other
non-traditional data.

Vertos Medical Finds $28M More
----
Aliso Viejo-based Vertos Medical, which develops minimally invasive
treatments for lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS), has raised $28M more in a
funding round, the company said on Monday morning. The new funding was led
by MVM Life Science Partners LLP, a new investor in the firm, and also
included prior investors Leerink Revelation Partners, Pitango Venture
Capital, ONSET Ventures, and Aweida Venture Partners. As part of the
funding, Hugo Harrod of MVM will join the company's board of directors.
