On-demand ridesharing service Uber hopes to bring flying taxis to Los
Angeles by 2020, the company said this morning, and has just signed a
contract with the U.S. National Aeronautical and Space Administration
(NASA) on software that would help support those flying taxi efforts.
According to Uber, Los Angeles will be the second test market for its
ultra-high speed, 200-mile-per-hour flying taxi service, which would tap
vertical-take-off-and-landing (VTOL) aircraft developed by other companies.

$500M in sell through for the opening weekend of its new title, Call of
Duty: WWII. Activision said it sold more than twice as many units in the

CoreLogic said late Tuesday that it has added two new members to its board
of directors, including a venture capitalist and a private equity investor.

investor at BV Investment Partners, to the board, which now has nine

Venice, California-based Snap is set to see a punishing day on Wall Street,
after reporting poorer than expected third quarter results last night,
including poor user growth and sales. SNAP was already down around 12
percent in pre-market trading on Wednesday, falling from a close of $15.12
on Tuesday to around $13.33 per share. Shap continues to lose money, hand
over first, reporting it had a net loss of $443.1M in the three months
