I have an Access Point on Mt. Wilson. Best speed you'll get is a bit under 1 megabit. Recently a few people have been interested in using it. We could probably do something faster if we shared the cost. Like a Co-Op.
Also, DSLextreme has some good pricing. No mesh networks in Pasadena. The City of Pasadena has an RFP out for a citywide network: http://muniwireless.com/municipal/bids/995 I know of no WISPs that have coverage in Pasadena. Frank Keeney Pasadena Networks, LLC http://www.wlanparts.com -----Original Message----- On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Any good Wireless ISPs in the Pasadena Area? Any Mesh networks? Anyone wanna start one or both? Charter just raised my rent 25%, and speakeasy onelink is still $6 more per month. How can I get back to my low cost, high bandwidth, no telco nirvana? Anybody know which buildings in Pasadena have metropolitan fiber in them? Anybody use the 100 megabit service from Cogent? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SOCALWUG" group.
