They have these meeting rooms in the malls in Woodland Hills. We have used
them for Soccer coach meetings.

Now.. this brings up an interesting question though.

If the city mandated the Westside Pavilion to have free meeting rooms, could
other malls in the city have the same deal.

Beverly Center anyone? Then we can high-brow it afterwards at the Stinking
Rose or Lawry's.

Funny you should ask. I learned this from Webspinners, who also meets there:
Westfield, the property manager for this Pavilion, was mandated by the city
that if they wanted to build their mall, they would have to provide meeting
rooms free of charge for the community to use. In practice, however, just
because they are free of charge does not necessarily mean they are
immediately available.
There is often a waiting list of organizations waiting to get a timeslot for
the rooms, and rather than give priority by seniority, the room often goes
to whomever has the most to offer the community at large. Just be prepared
to write up a case.

Less prime timeslots are almost always available, though. I often see kids
from local colleges coming in to practice lines for some local theater
production.
