[SOCALWUG] Re: Verizon Wireless EVDO

[Jeff Colen]

Hi Frank – I wish it were so – from my location in Manhattan Beach we are using a KR1 router and we were getting a 1.5 Mbs download, 128K upload with Verizon.  We’re now getting a 500K download, 56K upload with Sprint.  Maybe there’s something I can do to tune the connection better?   Regards, Jeff   From: SOCALWUG@googlegroups.com [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Frank Keeney Sent: Tuesday, October 03, 2006 9:26 AM To: SOCALWUG@googlegroups.com Subject: [SOCALWUG] Re: Verizon Wireless EVDO   At the SOCALWUG EVDO Shootout, we found that Sprint was faster: http://www.unwiredadventures.com/unwire/2006/06/socalwug_evdo_s.html > -----Original Message----- > From: Jeff Colen > > I've switched to Sprint, which doesn't have the same > draconian TOS but lacks > the same throughput that Verizon has (or had as the case may > be).   --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SOCALWUG" group.
