-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Um. Who said it would only be downtown? I haven't seen that mentioned anywhere.
If they are looking to generate revenue, then they would expand it to the valley. Only having wifi down town doesn't make sense. Most of the people down there wouldn't want it or be able to pay for it. So while I certainly agree that the Valley is ignored to various degrees, it is certainly NOT IGNORED when it comes to revenue generation. Obviously. It is a massive source of revenue. So offering wifi city wide is a no brainer. If its gotten to the stage of town hall meetings, I'll guarantee you they have already ran the numbers and figured out its a cash cow. - -Charles http://jackshck.livejournal.com Richard wrote: > Sure Van Nuys is Los Angeles City, you know what Jason was getting at, > Jonathan. > > I answered their solicitation for comments and questioned motivation. > Projected revenue from advertising is probably their glitter and reaching > the masses to raise them up from the dust of being without connectivity is > the political poster.
