Hi Guys,

I am managing the network of a small design firm here in santa monica,
ca and out of the blue now our AP extreme base station (the newest
flat one) has started to exhibit some networking 'weirdness'...

Basically the issue is in how i access the Admin tool utility to
manage the base station... for some reason after a set period of time
(unknown to me currently) the Admin utility no longer can find the AP
extreme base station upon scanning for it... the 'weirdness' is that
all of the computers on the wifi networkk can STILL see it via their
networking control panels and connect to it to browse the web...

We also have an NAS drive, Xerox Printer and one extra Mac MIni
connected to one of the ethernet ports and they are also not able to
be connected to when the AP base station exhibits the symptom...

Our setup is pretty simple...

Verizon DSL modem
|
Apple AP Extreme Base
|
port 1: NAS Drive
port 2: Xerox WorkCenter Printer
port 3: Mac Mini

I had a thought that it may be due to the DHCP server settings or that
one of the devices was flooding the network with pings/sockets that
were on the same ports that the AP base used to be controlled/
administered, but those are just suppositions and not based upon any
networking experiences i have previously had..

We can connect via Wifi but not administer.... Anyone have thoughts? I
am stumped!

Best regards,
Jason Fields.
