Hi Stan, TV Channel 7 (broadcast) is 175.25MHz, not in microwave. ARRL<http://www.arrl.org/tis/info/catv-ch.html>
2442 MHz (2.442 GHz) is Gary's machine at Loop Canyon - KE6JUV: REPEATER CALLSIGN KE6JUV INPUT 1 INPUT 2 INPUT 3 OUTPUT 1 OUTPUT 2 Coordinated CONTACT PERSON: Gary Dent KE6JUV 10400.000 M WBFM Horizonal SYNC Open 2.442 MHz (Ham Pubs<http://www.hampubs.com/pdf/repeater_listing.pdf> ) You are right in that they would be no real factor. It would be the other four systems and their moving user base that would be a problem for them, spectrum use wise. I think it would be an interesting exercise to set up on the input there and watch the mobile (client) traffic to see just what is hitting the receivers in the area... JUV's machine would be about the noise there unless we strain to to hear it.
