On my Garman Etrex Vista, I've needed to tell it that I've changed location so it will do a new search. I can also move a pointer in the display to the approximate location where I'm standing and it will re-search for the satellites.
I believe that GPS uses 1.5GHz. Which technology uses 1.2GHz in Hong Kong? Is this used for video?
