Eric,

These are only my opinions and I could be wrong but I do not recommend the
Yellowjacket
even though it has a spectrum analyzer function because:

1. You are paying a lot for the protocol analysis part of the instrument. A real
spectrum analyzer
works at ISO layer 1 - the wireless layer. It is not a protocol analyzer.
Interference reduction
(the primary reason to use a spectrum analyzer) doesn't care about protocol -
it's RF energy,
pure and simple.
2. The Yellowjacket SA function is just too limited. It doesn't go outside of
the band where
high-powered out-of-band interference may be lurking.

The Yellowjacket is "sexy" but I think that will wear off and many buyers will
wish that
they had spent their money on a "real" - a more fully-functioned and versatile
SA.
