Good point, Dave... disconnection of my application would be kinda like my normal Windoz experience.
The point I'm making is that people, especially people who are advocating the use of wireless, often don't take the time to understand the actual capabilities of the network that they are publicizing. Mobile connectivity means that the application keeps running while the user is moving through the area of coverage and from access point to access point (yeah... and even behind buildings and other obstructions).
