In case anyone is interested...as I don't have time to
look through the pages of tirades everyone has gone
on...I work for a Law Firm in Newport Beach. I have
around 200 attorneys that when they are on the road
need Internet access. Traditionally, this has been
using a dial-up service, but now we have moved to a
all-in-one service from GRIC Communications. GRIC is
releasing a dialer in April, which we are beta
testing, that allows you to find any dial-up, GPRS,
Wired, and Wireless Hot Spot available in the area you
search for. Similar to the way Boingo has their
service, however each location you go to GRIC has
setup agreements with those companies so there is a
single sign-on.

So, if I go to Starbucks, I can sign-in using my GRIC
account ID and login and use their service being
charged and billed directly from GRIC. So, in case
this conversation was about HotSpot billing inquiries,
or how HotSpot providers are dealing with service,
etc. then hopefully this helps some of you.

If not, let me know when you are all done so I can add
myself back to the list. Isn't there another list
where this can been accomplished...like Bugtraq or
something? ;-)
