The reception of my airport card in this Fareysch's cage called Powerbook Ti is driving me nuts. So now I am thinking of getting an antenna and I am looking at Quickertek's antennas to increase the reception of my airport card (http://www.quickertek.com/products.html) but the price tag on it is quite high with $89. Does anybody have any experience with other antennas e.g. from orinoco, etc.? Or should I just get another wlan card though I have the feeling that an antenna would have a bigger impact on my reception than a new pc card. Whatever I'll get it has to be Mac OS X compatible!
Also I am a bit puzzled that Quickertek is offering different version for the AL and TI Pb. Does anybody know if they aren't compatible? Thanks for any advice! xl
