Maybe no gain antenna is ok.
I have a mini-pci 802.11b card from IBM.

I had made a simple Dipole antenna and plug to mini-pci, seems it make
good signal(use software on laptop to view signal strength).

Just want to know if there is any good design of pcb antenna better than
simple dipole antenna.

As for no gain, I assume that you mean they provide 0dBi, which is true.

However quick question:  how many mW in 0 dBm, 1dBm and 2dBm?

Now remember that ye olde standard rubber duckie on that AP you got at  
Fry's (or even from Cisco) has a 2.15dBi antenna on it.  This is
about 65% more EIRP than a 0dBi antenna, but, in the great scheme of  
things, not all that much.
