I have a Garmin GPS-12 (i.e., old as dirt, no maps, but quite reliable)
you're welcome to use. I've got (somewhere) a combo serial-power cable
that'll run it off the car, and put out NEMA(?) serial GPS data, too.

I have an Orinoco Gold that'll accept a pigtail connector, but I don't
have an external antenna.
