It would be an improvement from the built in antenna on the Airport Extreme (http://www.apple.com/airportextreme/)
You'd need the appropriate cable to make the connection. I'd suggest careful research into the antenna technology used for your environment. The benefits of the "Multi-Polarized" design are not apparent to me and I'm not un-biased. I don't see the advantage since they cannot take advantage of polarization isolation which can be important in RF noisy urban environments.
