[SOCALWUG] Orange County Free Net

I’m trying to find out if there is an existing Orange County based “free network” or any interest in creating one?  I know of the socalfreenet.org project (San Diego) and the LAAWRN (Los Angeles) but so far I can not find anything for Orange County.  I already have a few key rooftop locations around Orange County, which are:   - A 4 story building in Santa Ana near 1st and Main that can see everything from Santa Ana to Newport Beach to the Mountains. Basically if you can see the Ronald Reagan Federal bldg. (http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/bu/?id=126403) I can probably see you. - Possibly *some* rooftop access at a two story office building right next to the El Toro Y As well as the following less notable locations: - a bi-level complex in Stanton at Beach blvd and Cerritos Ave. - a 2nd level condo near IVC   I have a few misc. ideas/projects for the network also but I'll get into those later, I just want to get an idea of the level of interest first...  Anyway, if there is anyone interested in a project like this, we could start with people just getting back to me with their contact info and/or address and description of their location.   David Cook [EMAIL PROTECTED]
