ISSA March Meeting Today: Wireless Underground
Topic : Wireless UNDERGOUND!
1. Brief review of SOHO 802.11 Network Security

Wireless networks are inherently hard to secure and most out of the box
solutions, such as Wired Equivalent Privacy are flawed. Tools for "auditing"
802.11 and Bluetooth network devices are out there for the script-kiddies
and easy to use. A brief demonstration will be attempted of some of the
available software and attack techniques. Some discussion will also be
offered regarding best practices for securing wireless networks.
