SAN DIEGO � March 16, 2005 � Trango Broadband Wireless, the industry leader in fixed-wireless broadband connectivity solutions, is pleased to announce the expansion of its high-performance M900S Series� broadband wireless access platform with the introduction of the M900S-SU-EXT subscriber radio. The new connectorized 900MHz Subscriber Unit is interoperable with the current M900S Series� platform and presents maximum return on investment. Customers requiring an external connector for the attachment of high-gain directional antennas, such as Trango�s AD-900-8Y-RP external antenna, can now achieve the performance requirements without sacrificing cost. The new M900S-SU-EXT represents yet another customer driven product innovation adding to the Company�s ever increasing wireless product portfolio.

 

Trango Broadband's M900S-SU-EXT offers fixed wireless Internet service providers a cost-effective solution for large-scale residential and commercial deployments in demanding Non Line-of-Sight (NLOS) environments. The M900S-SU-EXT is a 3Mbps subscriber unit that, when used with the new AD-900-8Y-RP 8dBi YAGI antenna, achieves a range of 6 miles with a 20dB fade margin and asymmetric bandwidth control to compete with DSL based technologies.   With unmatched noise immunity, superior C/I of 3dB and ease of provisioning and installation, the M900S-SU-EXT presents the market with the most cost effective and highest performance radio solution for NLOS requirements on the market today.
