Whats wrong with using Ekahau. You can use a GPS mouse.....
Airmagnet Suveyor would also be a good choice.

I have been using Ekahau for our indoor site survey and itâs a pretty decent tool. Iâm wondering is there any software in the market for doing community wireless site survey where I can have buildings, trees (with app. Height) and other things that might present in a community. I know Verizon has one but itâs their proprietary software.
Would appreciate any inputs on this.
