Quick tech question for you guys:
Does anyone know of a distro that includes ndiswrapper out of the box?

Reason I ask is I have an older Toshiba laptop that my daughter inherited from her aunt. 700 Mhz Celeron, 192 MB Ram (upgraded by me), and I have a Linksys PCMCIA network card for it. Otherwise it only has an integrated 56K modem. The hard drive went to the great beyond, and I don't have the Windows ME installation disc that came with it. I wouldn't particularly want to re-install ME on a new hard drive anyway... gag .

So here's the thing... I am very UNinterested in going through all the rigamarole of recompiling the kernel and all that crap that seems to be required to use ndiswrapper with the Windows drivers for the card. (No native Linux drivers exist, as is the case with most wireless stuff.) Even if I was interested in that (for a learning experience) it would be a real pain since I won't have any Internet connectivity until AFTER I get it all working, which makes dl'ing any required packages problematic at best. So having the wrapper built in would be a real plus.
