RE: [SOCIAL CREDIT] anti-Semitism

In the postings of Wally, Keith and Bill re the subject of anti-Semitism there is a glimmer of common sense included in the statement by Keith Wilde, “The reaction of "anti-Semitic" is obviously made in ignorance of the position, but it is not for us to tell them what they mean by it.  Let them do the defining”. I for one believe in the concept of “Innocent until proved guilty”. One could say that was part of my philosophy, something in which I hold a strong belief. Those who do not agree should refrain from any discussion on this subject. Contrary to English Common Law and the development of that concept is that held by other groups and countries particularly those who operate under what is referred to as Roman Law. The problem is being fortified with countries like Germany, France, Italy and even Canada adopting laws that deny truth as a defence and allow accusations to proceed without evidence based on truth or even denying the opportunity to prove that allegations are false.  Allegations can be made without any reference to what is meant as Wally said, “term "Anti-Semitism" should be determined precisely and that a clear definition of whatever it is, or is SUPPOSED to be, should be posited at the outset".  The fact is that the term is used and has been used successfully in that it has been accepted to mean something of which the ignorant are completely unaware and as a result has achieved a status similar to those who accuse others in guilt by association.  The quote by Bill from Finlay’s book adds further light and those interested in this outworn accusation could do no worse than read what Jewish intellectual Noam Chomsky had to say on the matter. The whole subject should be delegated to the crap heap and we should follow Keith’s suggestion, “Let them do the defining”.
