Bill, There were two points to my posting. The main was to draw attention to what constitutes the "first trench" and the second was to answer in part the response to my posting re the "critical examination" from a Socialist group.
With regard to the first, it is without question that Douglas recognised that the exercise of the 'will to power' rested with those in control of the Law and Military power. These in turn are exercised by governments who in turn are controlled by those in control of the money or financial system. Until this is realised and understood universally there is little to be gained by arguing monetary techniques. On the second count I had the opportunity to answer via Douglas re the uselessness of debating with anyone who is philosophically opposed to Social Credit. I would have thought that what I said was crystal clear. A reference to the address by Douglas titled "A Policy of a Philosophy", which I believe you have read is explicit in his approach to this question. The so-called "critical examination" was from a Socialist organisation which contained many incorrect statements relating to what Douglas allegedly was about. I refuted a few of these and still await evidence of the false claims that were made to justify their correctness. I am still waiting. I feel that you have misread what I said. As outlined in my article "What is Social Credit" I believe that anyone who cannot follow Douglas' outline have two choices. They can study it closely and either agree or disagree. I do not have the time to argue with those who disagree simply because over forty years experience their disagreement is usually based on complete ignorance because they have not taken the time or trouble to read or they have read and are completely opposed because their beliefs and objectives are contrary to those of Social Credit. There is no connection between the quote from Douglas I posted or my comment which referred to the so-called "critical examination", so I fail to see the point of your comment.
