(And from considerable checking of references I have found no evidence of overtly dishonest scholarship.) What it lacks is journalistic polish. I had momentarily forgotten that it was first published in German, until you reminded me. That could have something to do with the style, but I have a different interpretaion, which will come out in the review. One amusing manifestation of the non-English original is that the text makes several references to Adam Smith's famous principle of "Hand, the Invisible".
