Yes. For distributions we need a small set of cleaned up can-utils.
Unfortunately, there are some

As it's just one file, I also tend to combine it with a minimal set of
can-utils into socketcan-utils. Anyway, in the end it's just a matter of
packaging. After some discussion on this list we should be able to
agree on a common proposal on how to provide a new socketcan-util/lib
package. The real implementation should then not be a really big deal.

should be used. Yesterday I started to convert our can.txt to get
