But its not the kernels place to be keeping track, its a part
of the hardware. Its like setting a hardware based "self destruct"
counter. Once activated, it starts to count down until it "destructs".
What the watchdog daemon does is it has the ability to "reset" it
back to the full time period. So its effectively :
10,9,8,7,6,5,patpat,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,patpat,10,9,8,7,6,5,patpat
etc. All the numbers are the hardware, and the "patpat" is
software. If the software can't "patpat" then the hardware still will
get to 0 on its own and BOOM.

If its ability via env4801 to keep track of its heat is
accurate, its staying in the 140-160 range like it always does.
(Avg 149, Max 154, current 149)
Power actually seems to be fluctuating a bit in
recent weeks. Looks like it went up a bit, I was checking
and it claimed 12.116, but when I went to double check, it
was at 11.878. This is off "VPWR" on the env4801. It seems
to flip between those 2 as I keep polling it. Not like
11.878, then 12.116, then 11.878, etc.. But it'll be
11.878 for a few seconds, then 12.116 for a sec or two,
etc.
Humidity? Well, it *IS* 600 or so feet from the
Atlantic Ocean in a closet that also is where the well
is pumped, treated with a barrel of water/bleach and
another barrel of salt before going through 2 air cylinder
looking things which are next to 2 90 gallon water heaters
and an air handler. So yea, its humid I guess.
