Similar thing here, although it seems  more like "at least 6x too fast":
it runs appr. 3 minutes in 30 seconds real time.
It also happens when the box is powered-off: if I set actual time in the
BIOS, power-off immediately  and power-on again after half  an hour, the
clock is hours ahead of time.

If first  spotted this when I  noticed that the FreeBSD  10-seconds boot
loader delay passed faster than I could interrupt it :-)
