If you run a linux kernel >= 2.6.18 then you'll want to use the
scx200_hrt time source instead of the PIT or TSC.  Make sure teh
SCx200HR_TIMER config setting is enabled and the kernel should
automatically select it if you don't explicitly tell it to use
clock=pit.
